2008 Jeep Wrangler - MrKase

Unlike my previous Jeeps, this one is a daily driver. Thus, mods will be limited. I've added a Trektop, custom decals, mud-tray mats, grab handles, 33" tires with Spidertrax spacers, upgraded shocks and steering damper. I've added rock sliders and additional skid plates and an Aussie locker for the front Dana 30. It has a Dana 44 LSD rear axle and 3.73 gears, which are marginal for the tire size. The few times I've taken it on difficult trails, this JK surprised me with its ability to follow modded Rubicons without trauma. It's better than my heavily modded CJ5 and my slightly lesser modded YJ. Yet, I have managed to avoid a lift with the related cascade of modifications to keep it balanced in terms of reliability, performance and day to day practicality.
