1989 Toyota 4Runner - afmsquid1

Hello everyone!  This 4runner was bought used in 1997 and was wheeled quite a bit mostly in mud and at Hollister ORV park.  Back then it was stock with 28" tires, but still very capable, even with the IFS.  On one of the Hollister expeditions in 2002, my pride took over and I ended up going into a mud pit that was way too deep for a truck without a snorkel.  The original 3.0 Liter Toyota V6 sucked up the mud and that was the end of that motor.  I used the opportunity to swap in a 4.3l Vortec motor from a 1994 Chevy Blazer along with a built 4l60e transmission.  I was in the middle of the swap when i got married to my now ex wife.  Well, after 3 years of a marriage that didn't work, I finally got around to finishing my truck and now this is how it sits fully legal and my new daily driver.
